Programming Officer
The Programming Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging heritage programs for children, youth, and seniors. Key tasks include preparing program materials, leading school and public tours, organizing youth day camps, and promoting programs through virtual platforms. The Officer will oversee program documentation and evaluation, supervise volunteers, and ensure the maintenance and security of heritage buildings and exhibits. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain experience in cultural programming, education, and community engagement while contributing to the preservation and promotion of local history.

Exhibit Officer
The Exhibit & Programming Officer will be responsible for maintaining and preparing exhibits for tours, along with general building upkeep at Doc’s Town. The role involves promoting existing programs such as school tours, kids’ day camps, heritage crafting, blacksmithing demonstrations, vintage vehicle displays, and more, while also developing new programs targeted at local and regional tourism. The student will advertise, prepare support materials, oversee program delivery, and assist in program evaluations. They will ensure the cleanliness and security of exhibits and work alongside volunteers and experienced committee members. This position offers valuable experience in event planning, marketing, leadership, and teamwork while contributing to the operations of a historical heritage site.

Special Events Coordinator
The role involves assisting in the preparation and delivery of the 2025 Frontier Days. Responsibilities include obtaining materials for program content, coordinating volunteers through the Board of Directors, and maintaining accurate financial records. The student will support the Junior Stockman's & Ranchman’s Livestock Show, Doc’s Town Youth Day camps, and special events. Key duties also involve promoting programs through the website, press releases, and social media to increase event attendance and raise awareness of Frontier Days' reputation as a premier event in Southwest Saskatchewan. This position offers valuable experience in event planning, marketing, teamwork, and developing transferable skills.
