Events:
Junior Stockman's Livestock Show
Open to all junior livestock enthusiasts! Come show off your showmanship and stock production skills in the Junior Stockman's Livestock Show. This one day show is open to all breeds of cattle, as well as commercial, with division classes for heifer calves, yearling heifers, and pairs (with divisions for 2 or 3+ year old cows). New in 2023 is the DLMS Jackpot Bull Calf Classic!
An all-breeds, open pen show featuring livestock from across the prairies. Come down to Kinetic Park and show off your production operation with pens of bred heifers, pairs, or individual calves. Take in the pen show competition and stick around to try your luck at the calcutta!
This is a show that presents all the majesty of these gentle giants of the equestrian world. You will be amazed and thrilled with the grace, strength, and agility of these horses and their owners! Competitors from all over the province compete in this event. Everyone is welcome to come down to the Magnus Newland Arena to watch the show!
Cowboy Poetry
In conjunction with CultureFest happening in the Stockade, local cowboy poets will take the stage to preserve the history and lifestyle of the cowboy and the rural way of life in this unique art form.
